I just don't see how it would work, technically he is "Leelkase" but he won't look the part and he probably won't have too many Somali relatives who could vouch for him since he is second generation mix raced. However if he is adamant on being "Leelkase" it does not rely on anyone but him, he needs to make a name for himself amongst the community and have strong ties to the motherland, I would imagine it would give a heck load of full blooded Somali "Leelkase" the hippy jibbies though since he would looks alien to them, but they can't deny him his lineage.
