Re: Habar Yonose is declaring their own state
Well midrigeez the thing is the bejas the only difference is the religion many amhaaras are nut pure sabeans most agaw now and oromo galla only 30 percent is pure mengistu looked like bantu so did menelik.
The same with the agames back in the days in college there was this tigrayan girl she used to brag about how she was from the golden race. Back than I didn't knew what she ment but apparantly the agamas think they are higher than other ethiopians.her mother was amhaara the tigrayans and amhaara intermarry allot.
Any way to make long story short she. Ended up with a dude from angole somali dudes said there goes the golden race lol
As for the script I want to see it do u have a house in asmara I went to eritrea but only stayed 3 hours coudent see anything do you guys have nice clubs there . I wanne see the oldest script of geez
As for barhi negash you are right keeping ur independency is something u should always do but look how it ended if he helped us broke the back of the abysenians in the 19 century ras alula and emperor yohannes wouldve never touch an. Eritrean. In 1991 you guys did the same a deal with the agames again to achieve ur independency but 1991 I don't blame you I wouldve done the same. But u will learn from ur mistakes each and every time.
As for the daaroods and isaaq yes the animosity between daarood and isaaq is much and much higher than that of the hawiye and daaroods. Hawiyes and darood are drinking tea together today in mogadisho.
But the daarood and isaaq distrust and animosity goes way back to the 18 19 century.
They have been fighting for more than 300 years they have cursed each other to hell fire in their poems the last 3 century.
Just read somalinet all the beefs are between isaaq and daarood.if you want to read more read. The section clan talks from other forums u will be shocked lol.
As for the ogaden region there are a few hawiyes but very small 6 percent
Mostlu is isaaq and daarood well its oke now but sometimes is tense they fight here and there.
Something just has to happen like few months ago.
See the northern part of the ogaden region is all lived by the isaaq while the southern part is daarood problem was the hawd and reserve. Was part of british somaliland but the brits handed it over to haille sellesie there was lots of turmoil because of that and that was sole reason somaliland and somalia united 1960.
The brits handed that region to the ethiopias empror sellesie but before that it was part of somaliland the stupid english and ethiopians reshaped the border in 1954 as for djbouti and the ciise isaaq were majority of djbouti in the 1930s but the isaaq were very anti french and the french deported many of them. The cises were pro french so the french empired liked them.
So little isaaqs stayed back in djbouti isaaq played a role in the independence of djbouti
There is another tribe who are also signifcant in djbouti the gadabuursi but they are also a somaliland tribe if the gadabuursi and isaaq. Unite they can remove the ciises. But the isaaqs have no interest removing the ciises because the ciises are kind to isaaq.
The isaaq run the economy of djbouti major companies in djbouti are all owned by isaaq the ceo of the national bank of djbouti is isaaq. The telecomunication company the largest one in djbouti is owned by isaaq the major construction companies are owned by isaaq etc etcm the ciises were kind to the isaaq during the war for liberation they were our only allies at that time.
And if ethiopia and somalia are fighting somaliland will stay neutral. But it depends on the leader the current leader of somaliland is very anti ethiopia while the guy before was not so it depends . But they will stay neutral

I don't Know, That is what i was thinking too as i see darood and isaaq interacting here alot, But khalid_ali has been consistent with this so i do have to Trust him when he tells me that, maybe its hidden feeling among somali that is not visible to the outsiders.
khalids subclan do not really interact much with darood so there is no reason for him to hate them to the level he does.
Me and samtr subclans live side by side with darood, our history is full of wars and killing.
but we do not hate them or take it personally like khalid does.
its weird , why do you hate darood this much khalid?

Re: Habar Yonose is declaring their own state
The beja or ta-seti like the egyptians called them have been in africa as long as the egyptians,
where do you get that they are from himyar or kassites??
they range from eritrea through to kassala to sinai so they could have made it to Mesopotamia but why himyar?
The ancient egyptians had special units in their arms composed only of beja ,
and the beja intermarried into the royal family,
the famous tutankhamuns wife was beja.

But I was pointing out that if there tensions bAck home only this have to happen and It can lead to wars clashes
Etc etc. Besides my clan borders the daaroods in ethiopia and there were many wars between my clan and theirs lots of bad blood near cariray. Some of the was we're in the 1900s and some just in the 80s. Even in the region of jigjiga it hasn't been all love these days. So what the bejas are ancient egyptians and not sabeans these folks are very interesting and their ancestry is a myth it seems

As for the script I want to see it do u have a house in asmara I went to eritrea but only stayed 3 hours coudent see anything do you guys have nice clubs there . I wanne see the oldest script of geez
Yeah My family have a house in asmara But we are from massawa so we have properties in massawa. there is clubs there but they are usually more busy during summer. this is one of the oldest script of Geez from 1000 B.C in eritrea Ancient capital of D'mt The stele of Matara.
This is what the ethiopians did to one of the Stelae's, Look how Inferior they feel. They can't take that the language they speak today was imported From Eritrea.

We created TPLF so we can achieve independence swiftly, Meaning to Gain independence you need a military victory and a political one. we won the military victory but used the TPLF to recognise Eritrea as they took the rule in ethiopia.

so prior to Ethiopia annexation of ogaden most of it was part of somaliland??? I didn't know that. we all know Issa and their puppet Habits.

Re: Habar Yonose is declaring their own state
The beja been in egypt for 4000-6000 Years, we are talking about their history before that and the split between them prior to Migrating to North east africa. The 2 purest Beja are the Bisharin who reside in south east egypt and the bani amer Mostly in eritrea, Both are claimed to be kins but one speaks Badawi which is the beja language while the bani amer also speaks Tigre or Xasa as its refered anciently. so basically we were touching on where/how/when the split happened. Roughly 3000-4000 Years ago. The old himyarite Tribes claim they came from Iraq babel between 3000-4000 Years ago, at that time the ruling babylon Dynasty were the Kassites or The ta xasa according to the ancient egyptians. Most of the new kingdom pharohs spoke Beja like nefertiti, ahmentop, akhnetan etc. The unit of the army were the special Guard and were known as the medjays recurited from the medjay region of Ta-seti because they new kingdom pharohs Took the rule from the Hyksos who were assyrians and didn't trust them with power as they remained in egypt after they lost power, so they trusted their own people from the beja related tribes to guard them, The medjay Unit would be similar to a national or republican Guard today. There are hundred of proofs as well the best is the egyptian government recognition that the New Kingdom Dynasties (18th,19th,20th) were the ancestors of Todays Bisharin Beja. The new Kingdom pharohs in their Book of the dead claimed that the kassites were their Kins and shared the same Lineage and were the only People who would join them to pass into the afterlife.gurey25 wrote:The beja or ta-seti like the egyptians called them have been in africa as long as the egyptians,

No love lost there i see for your Darood Neighbours.

Yeah the Beja were the ancient egyptians but only the New kingdom, Nefertiti, hatchepsut, ahmentop, Thutmose, Tut, ramses, and my favourite Akhnetan AKA the Muslim Pharoh who moved his capital To samara and practised worshipping one god as he was known as a pious man and he destroyed the idols of other egytian Gods like horus ETC. he was poisoned by the priests as they lost power since their jobs were irrelevant some say Tut had something to do with it makes you wonder he died at the age of 18 with unexplained illness. It was known as the peak and golden time of Egypt and its border extended all the way to Iraq, Unlike previous Dynasties and Era's they Fought and took the fight to their enemies land and conquered them, at the peak of the new kingdom era they were the superpower of the world Just like america today.

Yes they are not Egyptians as Myzrami's but they did rule egypt for 3 Dynasties. they have been there for 4000-6000 Years.
Re: Habar Yonose is declaring their own state
4000 Years ago The beja Occupied 60% of all Northern Arabia peninsula you see today + part of Jordan + part of Iraq. They were like the fulani you see today stretched across alot of mass land. Not all the beja moved from Egypt some of them skipped through yemen and south arabia today Like the halenga/Bani amer/Hidareb's and Habab plus few sub clans of other groups. People don't understand one thing That the word Beja Means Arabs when you Translate it, so it means that as deseret dwellers alot of other Groups were included under the "Beja"umbrella throughout their thousands of Years history just like The arabs you see today. The afars were Known as beja for thousands of Years and many believe they split from the beja group once the Nilotic tribes split them as part of the Nilotic migration in North east africa. so the first waves Migarted through sinai and moved to east/south east egypt and into east sudan around 4000-6000 Years ago leading the way the Bisharin beja, while there was still many more beja across the red sea in arabia and many fo the others crossed through more southern cross like yemen etc into The horn. One Famous wave were called the belew Kelew Beja's who started crossing from yemen to Today Eritrea from 1100 BC Till 700 ad and established the D'mt Kingdom continuing from Punt civilization that was in The area, Semitic speaking beja who looked like Afari/saho even somali but spoke a funny different tongue was the view of the Nilotic people Opinion of these new arrivals. Like a somali who can't speak somali goes back to somalia and speaks English somehow during his absence his tongue has changed although his looks/features looks the same as other somali's.khalid ali wrote:So they didn't came from southern arabia

Khalid is bullsh!ting to Midrigeez
Khalid if the hate was that strong u would not have married from the Daroods lol, to be honest there's no real hate just deep mistrust. We as somalis only remember qabiil in two occasions politics and marriage, asides from those two subjects there's no one gonna ask or bother you, for hundreds of years when clans use to massacre each other for whatever desert reason, the old men from both sides would sit under trees and solve the issue using xeer laws and that would be it.
There was no grudges.

Re: Habar Yonose is declaring their own state
This is what I think the the bejas came from the sabeans but not all of them
Only those from eritrea and sudan but those from egypt are natives of egypt who was that muslimegyptian king was he believing in the religion of the israelites. And they have no relations with the amhaara apart from the sabean origin
Tell me more about history the kids of eritrea learn in high schools about. Pre colonial eritrea how much of it is is changed when it was part of ethiopia.
Yes but tplf ws ur idea but the thing is you're enemy ethiopia is still there but I underrstand that it was the best option to do it.
Right now tplf is still running ethiopia and had a destructive war with eritrea and still occupying parts of ur land
Yes big parts of the ogaden region were part of somaliland the english gave it to haile sellesie
The ciises are not really bad yes they helped us during our war with somalia.
They joined ranks with our boys and shed blood with us.
The daarood and isaaq were united for only 30 years their union caused a big distruction of both somalia and somaliland
Never ever were isaaq and daarood united under one leadership pre 1960
Their mistrust hate and animosity killed somalia. Because they brought their ancient war to modern and urban towns with modern
Wapeons. The only tribes in the horn that have this ugly culture is the daarood and isaaq
If an isaaq kills a daarood some where. A daarood will go to the nearest shop were some random isaaqs are and kill a few isaaqs
The hawiyes and rahan weyn and dir tribes don't ever do that. Its just the isaaq and daarood
Lol advo khalid is not married to daarood. Advo is a daarood from somalia he was born in somaliland he hates somaliland if he could he woudl wage a war against somaliland. Right now his elders are in mogadisho making threats how they going to fight against somaliland. But the thing is the daarods back is broken today they are weaker than ever.
The xeer of peace he taks about his entirly a somaliland culture people from somalia never do that
THey love fancy hotels in kenya and ethiopia or djbouti and want the international community
To watch them make peace Xeer nabadeed peace deal under a tree is how the somaliland tribes made peace and stability in somaliland.
