Let's not exaggerate. there are a lot of decent brothers out there. I'm sure that the majority of somali youth are doing alright. If not, then you must live in some government project. Where I live the boys are all in university or apprenticeships. Besides if the reason was that somali guys are lowlives, why are they going with jareer lowlives? About a month back my boy divorced his wife of few months after finding out she hid the fact that she used to date a madow wallahi. She wanted to save the marriage but dude was heartless

My parent's have a family friend who's eldest daughter married a Jamaican man. Her family paraded him around after their daughter got engaged to him telling every Somali person they saw that,'he became Muslim...he found Allah' etc. Long story short, after 19 months of marriage and two jareer kids he bounced up out of there. He left her and the kids and moved out. His wife was left crying, home alone day in and day out calling her parents asking them to help her get him back. When they finally reached him he said that he decided he didn't want to be Muslim anymore, didn't want to be a husband either and most importantly wanted to stay in the club scene. This story is so sad. The wife whom he still hasn't divorced is basically a single mother now. She goes to work and raises her children by herself. Whilst, he sees/calls her time to time to humiliate her and laugh at her saying things like, 'hi mom, bye mom.' Her parent's are truly heartbroken. They said that they fear she'll never get remarried because no Somali man wants a woman who has half AA children. Sad, but true.
