one man guided by the almighty god right! even if you are selfish enough to ignore and accuse him of being an imposter at least give him the credit for transforming those backward pagan Arabs of Arabia into productive well mannered( compared to their roman and Persian neighbors ) society, Buddhism never contributed any tangible thing to improve the animalistic nature of humans.

calling one old Mohammed is not the same as calling one obese and such, there is nothing wrong with the word OLD since he died 1430 years ago. the reason you are so sensitive is throughout your life you were taught to revere him, pray on him, praise him and even love him more then your father, mother , wife, childern and everything above earth.. simply you were brainwashed.

The UK is not really secular, or wasn't until very recently, look
up the relationship Christianity has with the state. Even in our State
primary schools we were expected to pray every morning in assemblies.
And attendance at church for Easter and Christmas was on the school agenda
even though it was a state school ....although you could opt out of course

As I Also said on that other thread, I do not believe Saudi to be an
example of an Islamic State, I don't think there can be such a thing.
That being said, I also stated I wouldn't mind too much a Government that was secular
or whatever provided they stick to governing and leave Muslim Jurists
and Qadis to do their thing and vice verse.

However from your statements in that thread and this non belief you've expressed,
makes me think an elected government, governing the country and even it being secular
isn't enough for you.

I think you want an all encompassing secularisation whereby any remotely religous
thing is wiped from public life, from the schools, to what's talked about on TV.
Atheists generally call for these things, hence Why I thought you were an atheist.

If this is what you envisage, then may God Almighty console you

fear of hell is what guides Muslims to cry in the mosque , the depiction of hell is so vivid in the Quraan most Muslims are almost pacified by it, and if that doesn't work make the Heaven even sweeter, Mohammed knew very well that most of human nature can be governed by pain and pleasure.
