Patriot has a point. Every Somali leader wants to retire in Kenya in a Nairobi mansion so they will not wanna really strain their relations with them. Thats why Xassan Sh will never say anything about Kenya because thats most probably where He wants to live.

even though Hassan Sheikh doesn't control anything, he is the first Somali guy in 22 years to be recognized President of the whole country by the sole world super power.

I once had a coversation with Cali Mahdi the dude seems humble I asked him when he will return back.He told me he was not going to stay longer and would be going back to Xamar asap preferably relocating within 3 months as he was feeling home sick. I told him adheer if you drink the Nairobi water you will never go back permanently. This incident happened when Sharif was on his last days of power. Today Cali Mahdi is still around and I dont blame him cos Damn Nairobi is a nice place to leave. The weather, security and social life beats any city or town in Somalia.

Plumbing, electricity, paved roads, hospitals, police and firefighters, great places to eat and chill... who wouldn't want to stay there?

You need to be recognised by your citizens more than foreign countries. Mubarak was recognised by the USA but the Egyptian people disowned him this is a lesson Culusow should learn. He needs to win the hearts and mind of his citizens not be emboldened by IC recognition and waste it on trying to shove incompatible policies onto his people.

Hasan Sheikh's actions and associations show that he's a fervent tribalist. It's a shame that he had so much support in the beginning and squandered it. As for the Kacaanist Siyaad Barre, there's really no defending him, his actions are written in ink, as is Abdullahi Yusuf, Caydiid and now Xasan Sheikh. The difference is that he is not using force, yet.

Whose actions out of those men will have most impact on post-civil war Somalia? Obviously Xasan Sheikh, sadly. I also like Abdullahi Yusuf's establishment of Puntland due to its effects on the secessionist region of Somaliland, that was a momentous victory for the union.

I agree as well, a final solution to the Somali question once and for all.

Obviously, a full 75% of the population must be liquidated and an aggressive eugenics program must be implemented in order for the survivors to churn out only the best and brightest. After we cleanse the gene pool, we'll never have to worry about retards, madmen, and spastics again.

Anyone will prefer Nairobery over Muriyandisho.
You will think everyday is a Diwali festival in Xamar.
