I think I misspoke, its rather the war of beards and non-beards
Both institutions have their good and bad but definitely being funded by a billion dollar plus a year will help a lot. Who is mature of the two? It's quite early to say that. What the army did was nothing but a pay back time for what the Morsi government did when they send their Papa Noel home , I mean when the great General Tantawi was forced to retire.
Tell me, was Haile Selassie killed by poison?
No worries, moustaches works fine as well
It's pretty clear the military has more leverage, and have been sabotaging MB which I can't say I'm against. If MB did anything good, it was getting Tantawi out of the spotlight, he was too powerful a man. He reminds me a lot of a transitional head-of-state and similarly highly-decorated general we had in Ethiopia after the Imperial era.
It is not clear how HIM Janhoy died, some say he was poisoned, some say he was suffocated at the hands of Comrade Mengistu Haile Mariam himself, there are a lot of apocryphal conspiracy stories. The official line and records show he died following a surgery.
With regards to the situation in Egypt and the fanning of sectarian flames, there is a timely proverb of Janhoy's in Amharic that went like "ager ye geranew, haimanot ye gilnew" meaning that country is common, but faith is private. MB should heed HIM's wise words and stop their division of peoples based on religious lines, it will destroy Egyptian society.
