This is nuts. Now I feel like the SYSTEM betrayed the people. They should all feel completely fooled since they all wanted Mubarak out. What's the point of being divided now, they are back to where they started.

Yeah. The guy who presided over martial law for 30 years and imprisoned many is free while a man who was democratically elected is in jail and will be put to trial for murder.SummerRain wrote:This is nuts. + Egyptians welcoming the military coupe. Quite ironic.FAH1223 wrote:Yeah. I think majority of Egyptians are regretting supporting the coup now. It totally backfired on them now that they're witnessing the brutal military and possible comeback of Mubarak. Idiots.
Re: Hundreds dead in Egypt as army cracks down on sit ins
The majority didn't support the coup; those who did do not account for even 10%. The number (14-33 millions) of protesters cited were impossible to be in Tahrir square and other locations. Experts and professionals put them at less than 3 millions*, based on the area of geographic locations they could be at the same time.SummerRain wrote:I think majority of Egyptians are regretting supporting the coup now. Arabman
The first link is another opinion article
The way Egyptians celebrated the coupe almost resembled the time Mubarak was removed. Even my friends who voted for Morsi turned opponents at the end.
The accusations against ELBaradei reinforces my feelings that the military is taking revenge for Mubarak and essentially will reinstate him. I really won't be surprised is something like that takes places.

I used to wonder of the articles that used to report whenever Mubarak becomes hysteric, he used to demand Tantawi to see him!

^^

Lol. NPR was reporting this morning that the Muslim Brotherhood are failing to rally their supporters to come out. I'm not saying Mubarak will return but mostly someone approved by him.Arabman wrote:That would sound like a story from the Greek mythology.SummerRain wrote:essentially will reinstate him
