The end of the 1988 SNM war in Burao

In Burao too where they staged fiercely fought battles, SNM fighters were
eventually dislodged from the city. On 15th August 1988 in a concerted effort the
fighters who attacked Burao and Hargeisa left the cities and the northern territory

But how come snm only captured hargeisa after the war was over? Did they lack strength. Iam watching now war videos from 88 till 91. There is some weakness on their part.

Hutu are u now saying that the hutus captured Hargeysa the Hutus had 9 year sleep and never killed a single darood in uniform when shit was going down in the north rhodeisan fighter jets mig jet fighters heavy fighting city fighting street fighting road side bombs. SNM came USC followed SPM the side kick of the Hawiyes followed this is how it went u killed a man who was shot 10 times by SNM before u gave the lost.
