I don't really know what differences in Dhaqan you are talking about !!

You should say " The similarity in Dhaqan " as you guys share very few things.

  that's the xeedho, waslad is a section of that I assume. Men (from groom & bride's side) are supposed to eat it after the groom successfully opens the tricky knots in the strings of the xeedho
Gaafka waa dhaqan oo gar ah Duriyada waxa kale oo samaysta Libyiinta. Inan kasta inantay ka reer fican tahay ayay ka xeedho badan tahay. Waslada aad sheegaysiid garan maayo. Waslada waxaan oo naqaana piece of meat. Xeedho hilib ah hore umaan arag mana maqal. Waxa aan Subaag misa moqmaad misa xalwad misa timir ahayn lagama daro fanaajinta. Nin rag ah baan ahay oo igma haboona inaan xeedho iyo fanaajintaa ka sheekiyo. I'll leave it to girls. Waxba ka yara khaldan, about the bride's male relatives.

Even you Hyper? :x
Horta why do people associate Burcaawis as "rough" or "rude"?
mybe they are? .... burco ha sidato meyd keeda

Jigjiga not Burco .

Don't get pissed off we all know the original Burcaawis are not rough or rude. Somaliland President, Dr. Sacad Cali Shire, Dr. Cabdi Aw Dahir, Mohamed Ibrahim " Hadraawi " are all Burcaawis and they are soft spoken.
