I have not seen a single Darod who has ever question who they descend from. Even the atheist Muslim hating Ayan Hirsi knows better than you, she never questions the Darod myth but glorifies in it.

Most Issaqs that took the test got the same exact results as most daroods, hawiye, Dir DNA haplogroup E1b1b1. Whether Issaq or Darood existed is irrelevant, even if they did, they were regular Somalis like u and I who carried the same local DNA as they passed it down to us.

I don't fall our ancestors for claiming Arab descend, people back then believed the closer they were to our prophet, the closer they were towards jannah. However to believe and regurgitate the same nonsense in this day and age is quite foolish.

Dude, many of us who have taken the test are not E1b1b but haplogroup T.

Paternally speaking, myself and others such as Jabutaawi, Casualfarax, LH, Xildiid, Sicid share a more recent ancestry with a Scanadinavian I haplogroup carrier or an Arab J carrier than with a E-V32 E1b1b1 Horn of African. This does not mean that T haplogroup Somalis are not indigenous Somalis, however, it is evidence that we have distant roots in Eurasia.

sheikha meeydh yaala sheikh isxaaqo waliiyallah sharka naga hay even though its a bit of shirk but for centuries this was chanted this. we have qasidaas of sheikh isxaaq sang by isaaq poets and isaaq sufi saints of the past 3 centuries

waliga manad maqlin qasaasid shalila yaa sheikh isxaaq
we have always called sheikh isxaaq ibn or bin Axmed for centuries not ina Axmed but Bin Ahmed
we have always held the ziyaara of sheikh isxaaq , the story of sheikh isxaaq is solid it never changes really
