say wat....i agree with walaahi...

........."“We ordained therein for them: Life for life, eye for eye,
nose for nose, ear for ear. Tooth for tooth,
and wounds equal for equal." ............

i cnt remember the ayah though! Confused

Allah has declared the life of an innocent one as sacred, so what gives one man the right to take a life?

Allah swt clearly says:

"Nor should one take a life except
for its being subject to the Divine Law".

Theres ayah after ayah in the quran that shows the importance of human life..

Laakin...havin said that.. it should not be taken as a personal case between the murderer and the relatives of the murdered, it should be considered a crime against the society or the system which should take it into its own hands.

The way they carried out the punishment was just cruel..

Hello!! I thought the electric chair was bad!! Rolling Eyes

Stab a man to death?

The heck is the world coming to..

Walaahi..i mean..did they even investigate the case..?

Was it willful or accidental murder?

If it was accidental..he should've been charged money..'blood money'..

Theres so much to be considered walaahi..

None of thats mentioned in the article.. Rolling Eyes

and..

GOD!!! no way does he luk 16!!

Fake age business...somalians!! Rolling Eyes
^^ We may not be experts in Islamic law...but surely there is something in your heart telling you that this is wrong.

It looks horrendous...I cannot believe we have stoooped this low. Why is islamic shairah applied only when it suits them? What law is there to apply in a country that has been lawless for nearly 2 decades

Why are there children in the crowd?

Why is the boy covering his face like HE is the criminal?

If they have judges in place, shouldn't they have ppl who carry out the executions instead of putting a knife in the hand of a 16 year old boy????

Islam is a religion of peace, forgiveness and mercy...yes I know we have capital punishment....but surely they should all be done in haste and not prolong the pain of the individual

Subanallah...may Allah swt have mercy on our souls and bring peace to all our brothers and sisters in the world

Amiin

I can not base Islamic principles on my instincts or make my own principles and apply real Islamic principles when it suits me or this society. It doesn't matter how my heart feels.

Sharia law has been applied in certain areas im surprised that people who complain about a lawless country complain about sharia law when its avalible.

The availability of sharia in somali is restricted why not support it for those who have it?

I think its a good sign for xamar now that the Islamic courts are taking over Warlord areas,,,,

I am not disputing shariah law, what I do find iffy is the whole procedure about this execution and its legality. I've heard of executions in saudia arabia...but they always involved a firing squad or it was a beheading...never heard of stab-a-dude-5-times and leave him for dead.
