Jamaal is a good sport. He has no problem with bear hugs. But never mind that, come on, put your stick aside and lets have a chat. I would hate to fall out with you, darling. You were my first ever crush on this site.

Paddington Bear wrote:In my long cyber experience, I have found that the majority of discussion forum frequenters are either students or women. Sometimes there is even the double whammy of finding women who happen to be students too! I have no particular quarrel with either group. But, and without being overly sexist or ageist, I found that regular contact with said groups blunts the mind and increases your risk of early dementia.
This is not a shameless attempt to be controversial (though I admit to being shameless, but for entirely different reasons). No, this is me trying to see if my stay here will be of any benefit. I already am certain that it will be beneficial to any mortals that come into contact with my not so humble words. But what it is in it for me?
So, will the students kindly file on the left. The women line up on the right and any reasonable, tax paying, hard working, like-minded males stay in the middle!
Much obliged.
Oh! If you do decide to reply, could you please (if at all possible) ensure that you don't use any ghastly text speak?
Thanks again.

Join the ranks? No darling, I am like a PC; I stand alone.
Like the two females before you, I am slightly shocked by how normal you sound. I stand by my earlier assertion though. The company of two many women and students retards the senses.
Thanks for the welcome. Subliminal greetings rock.
Jamaal,
Don't go brother. BV is not the type of girl (man) that hides in corners (private messages) to flirt. I am certain that if she wishes to flirt, she will do it openly and won't care a jot about what anyone thinks.
Come on BV, take a risk.

Is that it, Z? You wont scratch my eyes out or write an essay about the greatness of women?
(I don't expect any sane person to try to speak up for students).
Morning, BV.

As every day passes I get less and less besotted with you, BV. What in the world would make you defend students? You’re not a part time one, are you? This would indeed be the final straw.
Where is that Balaayo lady anyway? I'm suspecting she might be a student and all!

what do you have against students horta? you know the mind was designed to be in a state of learning...we are all by default students for life....if you declare yourself free from this cycle...perhaps you are limited in some form....can't teach an old dog new tricks per se.
btw: i am afraid no amount of words can exemplify the "greatness" of women huuno...its a matter left for experience.

Are you a student yourself, Z?
I am not sure if these forums are big enough to hold all disparaging words I could write about students. So I am going to limit it to my dislike of their fresh faced innocence and certainty that they know it all. But what really gets to me about that lazy lot is their freedom, lack of any responsibility and their pretence that they carry the world on their shoulders (have you seen them flap around and stay up all night on an essay they should have written months ago?). Disgusting lot.
You are right though, life is a learning process and I pray that all students learn of how much I dislike them.

It is funny how much Paddington sounds like Galol.

Keep going Voltage. You started by accusing me of being someone called Kukri (is that male or female by the way?) and now I am Galol! I shall give you one week before you claim that I am Voltage.
(seriously though, this is my first ever visit to Snet. I heard it was a viper's nest of argument and debate but all I see are the likes of Mr STOP).

I have read all 9pages, I feel like a stalker. Have you noticed the PM function Mr Bear?
Btw I agree with Voltage and Basra (once she takes notice of you). You are not new, you'r too comfortable. The newbies we hate usually till they learn to adapt after a period of incoherent flabbing around the forum lol

I am not new on net forums, Chilli. I’ve been on them since you were still at junior school (if you happen to be a student that is). It’s the usual stuff everywhere. You have the clique and you have the timid new people. But I have been around the block a few times; I need not be timid in a forum full of students (I’d kill myself).
And another thing, just because you have less posts than me does not make me new.
As for feeling like a stalker, how do you think I feel? Anyway, my long experience in discussion forums tells me that the lady is the one who should make the first move. I hereby promise never to go to Black Velvet’s PM if she does not tip her toe in first.
