True that, horta before ethiopia was allowed access to berbera wasn't pretty much most of ogadenias inport and export going through berbera?

Ogaden can have their independence and name the new country after themselves BUT they can not force any tribe that doesn't wish to be part of their new country to join them. The new country will exist inshallah as pure Ogadeen. If they try force it will lead to that region being a warzone with zero productivity.

When ogaden gets freedom(maybe in 3100 inshallah ,i dont think in this century)they should declare independency. That would be better for us and for them

I was mentioning kheyraadka Ogaden region that you referred to as a desert, thats what we will produce and for a port thats not a huge issue.Berbera will be at our humble service.

On the port issue,
Without an accessible port, the interior of the Horn quickly becomes susceptible to famine, since so much of it (Ogaden is no exception) is entirely reliant on foreign aid. We all saw what happened with Massawa and Assab, Ethiopia considered access to them important enough to go to war for. Now, the danger has been reduced by their access to Djibouti's and to a lesser extent, Berbera, but Ethiopia still remains wary of complete dependence on either and rues the day it lost it's own ports.
A self-administered port is an absolutely vital resource when occupying unarable land. especially when you lack the fiscal capability and funds to 'buy' one, like Ethiopia. Ogaden possesses neither.

An honest question for Ogaden,
What do you think about the latest TPLF published figures showing that in the last two quarters of 2006 and the first of 2007, the GoE spent more on the Ogaden region than even Tigray?
This was before the ONLF attacks in April, naturally. It seems no injustices can be found before April '07, when the Ogaden militia attacked civilians unprovoked.
Thoughts?

I never understood the nerve of these people who are willing to send hundreds of men from NFD and Ogadenia to fight the Islamic Government of Sheik Sharif, the very institution that one day would support their causes and build camps to host their ONLF ?
