There's some food for thought, eh?

He didn't patent it, otherwise he would've made a killing in the adult industry.
I read about it in a medical journal a few years back.

Re: ire and others who support homosexuality
They thought of it as a real medical condition back in the 1920s and before then. That's why he conjured up the device and handed it to 10 of his female patients. After a few weeks, he checked with them again and deemed the experiment a success.
This was also around the same time as doctors were prescribing all sorts of crazy things like snake oil & even cocaine to heal headaches.

Re: ire and others who support homosexuality
Allahu aclam, if some homos are born like that or they choose the lifestyle themselves.
It wouldn't amaze me if some of them were born like that. Allah tests everyone with different things and difficulties and they should be patient serving Allah and stay away from sins. Some people are born with disabilities, some people have great sexual urges, some people are so good-looking that everybody are calling to zina, etc etc... Maybe also homosexual feelings are a test from Allah and this guy should just have sabr and follow the right path hoping the reward for it.
All of us have urges we would like to fulfill like for example which man wouldn't like to have sex with no strings attached? And for some men even 4 women are not enough and many don't have a chance to marry even one. But we stay away from following evil desires because Allah showed us the right way and warned us about consequences of sins. And Allah created us very weak with different kind of urges to haram. Still it doesn't give us any excuse to fulfill forbidden desires.
No matter what you desire, right path is clear and wrong path is clear, and existance of urges don't change the sharci hukm and the punishment in next life.
And Allah knows best.

...My First instinct was to come in with fiery, passionate rebuttal argument or attack agaist Geneal duke, Addoow,, etc etc etc--but when i happen to stumble upon Sheikh Korontos comment about the history of dildo in the '20th century' i was.......
.....i was sort of.... flabagasted not to mention- disturbed.
Oh he says--he read it from a medical journal--...
... but i am not satisfied with that evasive, cruel unsharing short answer.
I demand Sheikh Koronto to elaborate and telll us WHY exactly he knows this paramount historical tidbit!
PS: I refuse to believe that dildo was invented to cure "Hysteria" ----unless Hysteria is another word for "Honryness" in those early "20th" century!

Lol @ this topic. At the end of the day people with an agenda will have their agenda with or without scientific evidence.
Most (overwhelming majority) of genes are what is labeled "junk" meaning they have no function. What makes humans humans, mice mice, and chimps chimps are the regulatory genes which sometimes are as small as few dozen in houndreds of thousands of genes. This means less than 0.3% of the actual genes make us cognitively human and chimps cognitively chimp. A difference of 2% betweens chimps and humans and 2.5% between mice and humans is enough to contribute to the staggering difference between those three animals. Basically don't look at 98% as how close we are but a difference of 2% how far apart we are.

Food for thought, we also share 97.5% of our DNA with mice and even more than 50% with the banana which is not even an animal. Grant such comparisons serve as "sensationalism" to the non-scientific community.Grant wrote:Bonobos share more than 98% of their DNA with humans.
