Some people seem to forget history rather quickly. Tribes and clan has always fought in Somalia, but never in Somali history did a tribe attempted to eradicate another tribe from he face of the earth. Xamar is the not the capital of Somalia, it hasn't been for 21 years. Xamar is a clan city and a lot of Hawiyes will testify to that. Puntlanders are smart people, and they learned from history and they will never put themselves in the same predicament again. They have no desire in living, and investing their wealth is that god damn, sad excuse for capital city called Mogadishu. We would rather focus on building Puntland and investing our wealth in our god given land.

When and if southern Somalia become peaceful, we will kick the cockroaches that live in our three properties in xamar just so we can sell it, and build huge villas in Galkacyo and Garowe.

Most people in Xamar just care about their daily life and money. If you dont want to live in Xamar because is not safe is one thing, heck i wouldnt live in it right now either but it has nothing to do with qabil.. Like i said most Somalis want to live where their qabil or laf is the majority because everyone wants to abuse and get abused...

What is the point of boycotting Mogadishu if it will be your capital? You may as well declare independence then isolate yourself like that. This is just somalinet members talking though. In real life people will live wherever they can make a decent living.
