There is no need to find Sh. Isaaq's DNA. According to Somali abtiris, all Isaaq's are descendants of Sh. Isaaq meaning all Isaaqs should have J as their predominate paternal haplogroup. This is clearly not the case based on your DNA results. The same is true for Daroods, the other major Somali clan claiming Arab origin.SahanGalbeed wrote:AW , I have said this many times , the ancestry is true , I am just not a direct descendent , maybe one of the assimilated ones .
1/ we would need to have shaykh Issaq's DNA to compare
2/ people with a different DNA can be found in all tribes including yours , which means there has been a process of integration/ assimilation or whatever you wanna call it everywhere . Anigu RUNTA ka ma gabado .
E clade and all its derivatives (sub-clades) is of African origin. Anyone in the world with E paternal markers means they have recent African ancestory. Thus, E1b1b1 markers among Southern Europeans, people of the Leventine, Middle East and North Africa conclusively demonstrates recent African ancestory which is consistent with archealogical evidence.
