at this point I take any functioning government, whether they be secular, Islamic, Nazi etc I really do not care, as long as they provide the essential necessities to the civilian population.

Simlply ridiculous, if any state decides to put religion aside, they then declare that they are Al-Malik, and not Allah, that there sovereignty belongs to them and not Allah, i pity any state that does this, Siad Barre's Somalia was secular, look how Allah ended it.
