just keep in mind, in the future, when you guys divorce (cuz the cycle will continue, so long as this enemy mentality exists with somali's), all kids NEED their PARENTS. don't vanish from their lives just because you divorced your wife.

I know quite a few Muslims (men and women) who have not married. But I don't know any Muslims who proudly have a family i.e. partner and children, outside of marriage.

That post was directed specifically at Fah who I am sure wants to have kids and he is a practicing Muslim ergo he may fret and frown but he will get married eventually. And at this rate the horrible, expensive and soul shattering divorce is likely to become a self fulfilling prophecy misters "use my mother as a tool to hide assets". So what would count as a good reason in your books then?

People get married and have kids hoping the marriage or children will fill some void in their lives. No. Kids are a decision meant only for two people who've grown together over years and truly know one another. The only reason good enough is to raise a competent individual who will benefit those around her/him. Any other reason is selfish and immature.

I am not sure that is the reason itself why people have kids but all parents want their kids to be competent individuals who will benefit those around them - even those pesky ones who want their kids to provide for them in their old age, they too want their kids to benefit those who are around them - their parents specifically
