All Kaabo Qabiils must held responsible for this. We are talking about Qaaraan paying women here, women need to demand justice and tell these old fools, to not use their money to kill potential gusbands, and create unnecessary shortage of men.
By the way what happened to this practice, when all else fails, the father used to go to Masjid and say yaa faatixada loo maraa oo iga guursanaya gabadhan. I heard the following story (not sure if true)
Father went to the Masjid and did exactly that, then Bantu man raised his hand and said anaa guursanaya, and the Father responded ciyaarta naga daa adiga...

Well I didn't understand what women with body count meant at first but going by what's being said it means, they would eventually end up with men with body count. So what's the problem?

Re: The new Epidemic.
Of course I mind it, was precisely because it that I several times came back to the thread to remind everyone that there was two parts to the topic. I left it for the women to speak on it which never happened hence why it was disappointing. Again I agree with what you said.Tuushi wrote:1nemansquad. But u dont mind it became male bashing? Re: The new Epidemic.
the problem is that you have people who have slept around looking for a virgin to wife/husband. these guys should have a scare on their face that says zineyste. this way you u know who is who. right now is a f-king jungle.SummerRain wrote:Well I didn't understand what women with body count meant at first but going by what's being said it means, they would eventually end up with men with body count. Definitely agree with the sentiments in this thread.
The overparenting and pampering of Somali males has created a legion of goalless, ambitionless and overly content Somali males. Why bother working hard and studying hard when you will food cooked for you, clothes cleaned for you and always a roof over your head regardless of your circumstances. Even when the mother is done with her son, the wife will assume the role and the situation won’t change.
The real issue also with Somali mothers is that they are happy that their sons are bums as long as they live at home under her watch. She would rather have her son being a bum at home than him living on his own somewhere else successfully since people cannot gossip about him. I’m definitely against the mentality of only leaving the home only when you get married; wrong thinking IMO.
In hindsight, I think some of these apply to me. My situation is pretty good; however, it can become MUCH better. But my drive and passion has definitely been impacted by me being spoiled. Looking to rectify this situation. Wallahi, it would have been best if I was told to leave the home at 21 and become independent. Sometimes hard decisions are the best for one’s child

^ Oxidant, not everyone that moves out of home necessarily becomes magically transformed. Works for some people and others not so well.
