DNA Test is to help people trace their lineage. Unlike others I can tarce my lineage and I'm 110% sure abouti it. So technically you are asking the wrong question to the wrong person. Just like me asking you to do DNA test to prove that your dad is really your biological father!!

Obviously the guy on first video is trolling, he is not Arabian who learnt Somali in 3 years, but an Isaac guy. As for the second video, he is trolling too, He is not white Canadian. He grew up in HargeIsa, his dad is from Somaliland while his Mum is White, that's why he speaks better Somali than most of Somalinet members.
Somali is a language such as any other language so it is not a big deal if anyone learnt it or spoke it fluently.

Djiboutian, you do not know the first thing about my stance on the genetic ancestry of Somali clans. I am already on record for stating that the more Somalis that get tested, the more accurate a picture we can get.

Now, not one test result from your clan has proved there are any different than other Somalis so far. On the contrary, results so far indicate that there are two lineages among them that are found among their neighbouring Somalis.

If you do not believe me, open a thread in the IPG and ask those that have taken the test so far to share their results; and also what the test results of other Isaaqs that are present on 23andme are. Are they all Sheegads?

Furthermore, as I highlighted to x.playa, none of these lineages can be traced to Hashemites nor were any of them recently introduced to the Horn from the Middle East.

If you think I am biased or are promoting an agenda, ask other neutral individuals that have an interest in genetics such as Itrah, Estarix or even email this fellow (Awale) on http://anthromadness.blogspot.co.uk/.

According to Arabs and Muslims genealogists/anthropologists DNA test is not reliable even if it 100% correct. Only three things can prove your lineage. 1- Furash (In oo qofkii xalaal lagu dhalay), 2- Is-tilhaaq ( Acknowledging that someone is your son/daughter ... mostly applies to those whose mothers were slaves ). Even to acknowledge someone is your son/daughter, there are many conditions you need to fulfill, not an easy task. 3- Al Bayinah ( Rebuttal "Cadays" such as witnesses and attested pedigree and it takes so long to be checked and approved).

There are other two minor conditions to prove someone lineage. So even if your DNA test's result matched any Hashemite trust me none will consider you one. DNA tests' results can only be credited in two cases:- 1) If babies were switched at birth, 2) If two or more men claimed someone whose lineage is unkown.

I personally know two person from two sub clans who their results matched Hashemites in Iraq, Iran and Egypt. As for those you are talking about, are you 100% sure they belong to the clan you mentioned? (Who knows they might claim to be from X clan while they are from Y clan?)

The different between you and me is you relay on DNA test to prove your lineage while I don't. I don't blame you, if I had no other evidence to prove my lineage I might do the same. Dadkaan ku abtirsiinto DNA kama macaashan AND both of us know it is not 100% accurate so arguing about DNA is pointless. Good luck with your test. Ancestry DNA tests cannot prove that one is paternally related to another Somali carrying E1b1b or T1a.

The above haplogroups are associated with the lineage of Saayid Ali RAC.

I have not taken a DNA test yet and I do not know what my lineage is unlike thou Saintly Hashemite.

You missed the point. Nin Isaaq ah oo Islaan ah, for him to say I'm the grandson for Banu Hashim is understandable. That's because he's doing it out of love for Prophet (SAW), even if his story may be a fabricated one. But if you're known to insult the Prophet (SAW) and his followers, and Arabs in general (like X.playa has over the years), then why try so hard begging to be descended from an Arab?
