Despair not sxb, we must live in hope.BlueBlood wrote:

Even though large parts of the Somali Peninsula and many old and famous Somali Cities have fallen or may fall into the grip of the gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Alshabab/Amisom/Ethiopian/Kenyan rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall defend our Peninsula, whatever the cost may be; we shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Peninsula or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our diaspora beyond the seas, would carry on the struggle."
Hopefully you can take some inspiration from the wise words of Iman Abdulmajid.

To clarify, the purpose of this thread is not to belittle or denigrate the Somali people. The purpose of this thread is to inspire the Somali people and galvanise them into action; to show them advances and achievement we could realise if we united as a people and put our minds, hearts and resources together for a our common good.

I disagree. Over the past few years I have come to know some really inspirational, motivated and well-meaning young Somalis who are making significant contributions to Somali society. It is these young Somalis who will be the leaders of tomorrow. It is not quantity that counts, but quality.BlueBlood wrote:Bro walahi we are in a sad state...even the diaspora born somalis, who we thought are our future hope, are much worse than somalis in back home. rabi somali is jecleysii oo isu qalbi fur amin.
