It was only one at time i joined and he was an established member from Somalinet. So the site you are on actually produced that atheist he wasnt even banned just relocated to Somalispot.

My critic is not about atheists or having people of different backgrounds there i have no issue with that. It was the conduct of the forum and the hostile hatefille trolly environment.

I didnt chose anyone over others. People just up and left as i waited for my own seperate subforum to be created up until a point. I followed suit was inactive for months even.

Because these atheists specifically joined to shit on our religion and to troll mostly. Which was non of previously.

Yeah it's not even about the presence of atheists or people with "alternative lifestyles". It's about the lack of moderation, the kind of degeneracy that is promoted (at least indirectly) etc. I'm down with exchanging opinions and sharing each other's perspectives on things but I'm very much against trolling, promoting immorality by popularising, giving exposure to the immoral activities that take place in certain fringe groups (like how they promoted pornographic material) etc.. You don't have to be a neurosurgeon to understand how that is damaging to a community. The fact that the forum has grown popular makes it even worse.

Thanks for asking saxib I have been doing well i guess as you can see I'm here trying to get over my past relationship and getting used to life in the new city i just moved to ''Somnet'' i pretty much summed up how it went down but you can ask Bahal for a more articulate version and Ghost for a funnier one depending on which one you like. i do agree the evidence points toward aj being the owner more so than not, i remember one saying ''the owner is from England and likes to remain anonymous'' but the domain is from canada/USA...... in other words bs.
im at a stage where i can agree without any trouble that aj is the owner as for the agenda part i dont know ''what'' -->exactly<-- it is and the goal in mind but a certain type of people are being protected from completely being outnumbered, no matter how you put it such a high level of somali gaalo,those on edge of it, and pro western ones shouldn't be able to make up such a high percentage without some tweaking going on behind the scenes. the old users are quiet diverse but since the site has become popular they can now afford to apply their policies and most wont notice it as you have to see it from outside. its not just a mere coincidence it harbors so many atheists.
i dont even want to talk about duchess she is a disgrace to my hooyo's reero abti runtii she blindly sided with kaleel even when his lies could be detected by a 5 year old

i dont think i ever participated in them unless i saw something really stupid that i had to make fun of wasn't my cup of tea.

I signed up with people promising this was going to a be Pro-Somali website. For the first few weeks and months. It was seemingly heading that way.

The only atheist on the site when i signed up was Viceprez and AJ being on the fence about his faith. But both agreed to being respecfull and not discuss anything deen related with vitriol. They said that the Admin was muslim religious man from the UK, which is just persumed.
He was really cool at first and was very keen on taking suggestions from me about the site and its structures.

First few weeks were chill most people got along. I posted mostly on the history and culture section and business section of the forum which i established.
People mostly discussed happenings on the news and no controversial topics were posted often. The topics were normal and the comments were also. Everything out of line we checked.

Then the site started to flood with all sorts of trolls , since at that time the forum had zero rules. Suddenly i found myself battling with these trolls since the admin did not listen to my complaints about setting up rules and banning them.
It was weird it was like the websites was designed to protect crap like that. All the good and respectful posters up and left. So many of them were interesting and i enjoyed having intellecual discussions with them.
Then the trolls started to infest the websites atmosphere. Thats when people started to see the resycled rubbish threads constantly being posted.
Just before you guys signed up bunch of Atheists came in invading the website who werent there previously. Then some other good posters started to leave the website one by one. While other good members good banned.

The only reason i ended up staying was because they promised to give me my own seperate subforum. Then i waited ,waited. It never happened.
I even thought i could rejuvenate the website with my positive uplifting threads. But each one was ignored or derailed by trolls to the point i just gave up posting them in the end.
Now that site is just a pile of horseshit.. It is bound to suffer the same faith as SomaliLife and Topix. Infact i am willing to say its even worse.

Exactly i had no issue with people of different backgrounds then me. One of the reasons why i joined it in the first place was because i could get exposed to different views and that was the beauty of it compared to here. I didnt care about a few atheists here and there, i am a pretty tolerant person.

My criticism was about the lack of rules and moderation on that website. ''Everything goes'' atmosphere that allowed vulgar,hatefilled, blasphemous and trolly stuff being spewed on constant.

The mods and admin on there didnt listen they just wanted to deflect blame on the average poster. Their solution was to guilt trip anonymous users. Yes. I dont know how you can guilt trip anonymous users. Perhaps the most idiotic ive ever heard.

Posters on there comform to what they see and hear. Say what is within the scope of allowed or acceptable. They are creation of their environment and a reflection of the forums standards.

Guys, the problem with somali forums is actually the the ignorance and of lack of discipline of the posters. It is not only forums but everything we touch. I am very embarrassed to take non-somalis to Somali restaurants. Even our mosques are sub-standard. Why? Because we are inherently nomadic to the bone. A few years back I read a newspaper article discouraging ppl form visiting America's largest mall on Eid time because of stuff they said about Somalis which I don't want to repeat here.

A good example is right here. This forums is categorized with many categories and sub-categories while you dump every possible topic onto the general forums. If you are into Somali poetry, you'd better serve online community by posting your passion on the poetry section. Instead, you dump it here on the general. It may get some attention a a day or two it will forever be buried in a wrong forum.

Instead of blaming others, I think everyone should understand how to use online forums effectively. The other thing is that if you don't like how things are, come up with a solution and engage with moderators and admins.

The otherthing is that you are advertising somali porn without knowing it. A lot of folks would't mind peeking @ somali girls doing that stuff and you are telling them where to find it

If you dont have rules and regulations, standards. Also mods & admins that actively enforce them. Trolls will flood the forums and people will do an say whatever. The job of disciplinary is you the admins and mods.

Its as stupid as expecting people to abide by the law when there is no one to enforce them or better yet no rules or ethics to keep them disciplined.

Other forums have figured it out and taken steps to prevent this. Somalis on the web are no different than other groups of people in that regard believe me. The difference is that other sites do not cater to their degenerates and trolls.

Look at http://www.SomaliaOnline.com , do you see this kinds of behavior on display over there? Dont even try and pin the blame on the posters or Somali culture. Put the blame on the systemic problems on this website and learn to be humble enough to accept criticism so you guys can improve things.

The posters here are a reflection of this sites standards nothing more.
