Contrary to what the naive believe, Somalia is getting worse and worse. Bombings have become so frequent they barely make headlines. Maamul goboleed are at each other's throats. Much of the land is controlled by alshabaab, the land alshabaab was chased out of is full of sleeper cells who have businessmen and politicians in their pockets. Amisom has full control of Kismaayo port, I laugh at daroods who think bringing them in would help their kinsmen, in reality they just care about the port & kufsi. Mogadishu airport...forget about it.

On the other side landers like me cut flights back home as vacation or to invest without a worry. We have our land, we have security & we have full control. Why would I risk these luxuries to join Somalia? What's in it for me as a young lander? If it was mutual benefit then we could at least have a reasonable discussion, lkn we're not even on the same level

Am an ardent Somaliland supporter, Somaliland cause is straightforward, the only reason the daarood and hawiye oppose it is due to tribal hate.

Somali politics is repetitive, its like beating a dead horse.
I find it useless, and disgusting.
and by somali politics i mean all somali lands.

I am a somaliweynist, an idealist
but i am also practical minded at the same time. which is nuts, i know, i am a little crazy.
and there are very few who think like me.

no one is interested in practical ideas, everyone is driven by emotions,
by qabil, by envy, hatred.

we have problems how do we solve it.

instead of politically, lets think of this as a puzzle to solve, and leave emotions out of it.
You should also have a free mind, and be ready to question everything.
then, only then can we make progress.....

anything else will lead to a qabiil slinging match, and a penis measuring contest.

As Gurey once mentioned, we should strengthen this 'clan confederation' of ours.We have noN Somalis in our lands and as neighbours seeking to divide us, only a fool would look to trick and rob/kill his fellow Somali brother than to be wary of our neighbouring Kikuyu/Habesh/Bantu Amison enemies.

The regular Somali mindset is too limited however :snoop:

Gurey to do you believe Somalis need to break up to make up? I think by breaking up they can become united in the future . White people use to be tribes and look and them today? they brought together into many pieces and now they're transitioning.

I think I am pro Somaliland and pro world. I want the world to transition into one. But maybe it takes time

The thing I am concerned about Southerners. Is that if they don't let Somaliland go then Both Somalia and Somaliland might end suffering for long time and be ing wiped out. Because that looks like what is happening.

Can they survive in the current should Somaliland stay un recognized for next 30 years? 100 years? While Somalia is still figuring it out

it's the same envy afweyne had when he realized Isaaq have always stood on their own two. I don't know how any lander could feel empathy towards a people who try and sanction any horumar in SL. If it was upto me I'd have dirty waqooyi on a healthy salary to deter any progress in somalia while pushing our agenda :jawalrus:

Dude nobody has anything against isaaq. seriously though, this utopia that you make somaliland out to be isn't real. What has somaliland got tht is so great that isn't in wanlaweynistan?

There nothing that hargeisa has got that either Bosaso or Mogadishu dont have. This democracy that u believe that is present in your part of former somalia is a fantasy that u used to sell to the west. Somaliland has made some improvements in my sectors but in all honesty it's nothing to write home about..

This hatred against somaliland that exists in your head is nothing more than general somali politics tgats practised throughout the country where the strongest flourish and the weaker got taken advantage. Do i support it? No!! Do i condone it? No!! Do i admit that it exists? Yes!!

Frankly if there was anything close to hatred or xaasidnimo its far more active and in open displayed window between puntland and hawiye. They show each other far more dislike to one and another than they have for somaliland, either collectively or individually.

Your companies and your people trade in puntland with zero restrictions on people movements. Your politics are not generally intervened unless they get active in disputed areas outside their own degaans.

Infact you wish to be hated disliked and provoked but to be generally quit frank hargeisa has never been on a priority to do list on the agenda of garowe or Mogadishu.

You are the nick farage of the isaaq, scaremongering the common people into believing lies that dont benefit the common iidoor.

But hey ho, you make your own bed... so in short guten tag!!!
