lol, here's a little known fact. there really is an Admin on Somalinet Forums, and he is ACTIVE. he reads the forums, he's here almost daily. maybe under a different username, you just never know. but the point is, he's real. a couple of years ago, i suggested that i wanted to become a moderator, just a shot in the dark i thought, next thing i know there was a title above my name and the rest is history. now, unlike other moderators, i have the power to relieve and assign new mods so you just never know. its shocking that no one has accused me of being the admin himself, i mean, if you think about it, i've been here since the creation of this website, went from a junior mod to a full blown mod in months when supposedly no one could have gotten in touch with the admin, i ban other mods and no one questions me etc etc, they have a solid case if you think about it. but, let me just stop there and answer your other questions. do i get paid? no i don't and i believe i answered that already a few pages ago. when will i retire? i don't know. as long as the internet remains so convenient i guess i'll be here.
