Well put. I used to sympathize with the OG cause but no longer.
I think this is true for most Somalis, regardless of clan.
I am in shock at their pathetic lot. Look at the deportations of the OG from Puntland. You would think that the OGs would seek revenge yet they do nothing. Somaliland deports OGs and they burn hundreds of Issaq trucks. You have the curious case of Bashir Makhtal, a OG sold off to Ethiopia inside Garissa, an OG city. Response nothing. 90% of the snitches in the Kenyan security forces are OGs. You would think that they would have made moves against their Darood enemies, yet nothing.
It shows the extent that they've been disenfranchised from reality by their current pathetic status. The last few years of constant defeat by the patriotic Tigray forces appears to have damaged their psyche's. If a truce based on name (not actions), which
only they honor can prevent them from seeking retribution after being completely humiliated is all it takes to attack Ogaden without fear, perhaps it's time for all factions hostile to them to begin claiming Ogaden as their distant relatives
If they don't care about their own plight, why should we?
