I can honestly say they easily qualify for the filthiest people on earth, probably come in #2 after the natives in Bolivia who take a bath in their piss every morning. Many people who have seen Addis Ababa tell me the same thing. Ethiopia and India, two countries you'll never find Cinque unless he's kidnapped and taken there. No scratch that, they would have to kill me first.

My dad lived there for a year in 92, he said his maid would shit and piss outside and all do kinds of fucked up things. He said him and his housemates thought their health was in danger so they fired her.

All the stuff you've ever heard about Addis Ababa can never prepare you for the experience itself. The whole city has like a foul smell to it, like a pile of dead animals rotting somewhere, open sewage probably since they are all over the city. Wonder out of the city square center area (where the hotels, embassies & fancy restaurants are) and you enter a different dimension. You'd casually be walking down the street and an Ethio lady right in front of you will pull off to the side, crouch and take a leak, then get up and continue walking as though nothing happened, with her shit dripping down her legs.

You'd be waiting for a bus and the cute girl next to you smiles at you, then you look at her again and you see a dozen or so lice on her top, walking down from her hair and nobody even acts the least bit surprised. A dude or even a chick can go on for weeks without a shower, multiply that by a bus full of people, you can draw your own conclusions how that bus will smell. There are no toilets in a traditional Ethiopian home, unless they are Muslim Gurage or Oromo. They shit in their backyards in the rural areas and in Addis itself, they have a designated empty room (without doors) as where they do their business, no toilet seat or hole, just hay spread out across the floor. Family members pick a spot on the floor and lay their stool and just leave. After a week or two, the family picks up all the hay and burn it outside.

Its very difficult to get rid of age-old customs and traditions. Even if they live in the West, they'll still retain their ways. Only thing that guarantees cleanliness is a person's faith and that's where Islam plays a role. Somali women come in all types and its not fair to generalize them all as cheap skanks. We all have sisters, mothers and female relatives, wouldn't be nice to have someone talk smack about them.
