Pretty much anything aside from Sci Fi. I'm a huge John Grisham fan though.

I gave up on the other non-fantasy/science fiction genre's ages ago; after I got a few of the classics in. I just haven't found anything particularly compelling.

I just finished reading the "the Testament" by John Grisham.. gave it a 4!

I discoverd dune when playing the video game a few years ago in 99.
went to my local library and picked up he first book and i was hooked.

Frank herberts vision is unique.


Now padishah for space opera on a large scale, i would recomend Peter F Hamiltons the reality Dysfunction and
the contiuing 2 other books.

Padishah, the effort of suspending disbelief just wasn't having a high enough payoff in terms of entertainment. I didn't care about Leto's golden path anymore, since I didn't care about the ridiculously powerful but shallow characters that were on said golden path.

Gurey, I don't remember if you were the one to suggest Dan Simmons, but I'm reading Hyperion now.

Padishah, if you're into the fantasy genre, try the "song of ice and fire" series. There are four books out and three to go

I just finished reading a book called 'Beyond Chutzpah' by Prof Norman Finkelstein. The book is about the Holocaust and Israeli policies in occupied Palestine. He's DePaul University Professor and he is slated to receive a full tenure at DePaul University; however, many supporters of Israel and AIPAC are trying to stop his tenure because of his views about Israel's atrocities in the occupied Palestine. It is well worth read and very well researched book, IMO.
