Respect him for holding out against iidoor, ethipio, and MJ. But it was a matter of time before his nepotist government would fall. His dictatorship is the reason, every tribe want's their own nation

Do you know how many MJs worked alongside Siad Barre? People continue to lack judgment and give credibility to those who rightfully deserve it.

There might have been Marexaan and Darood that were Qabiilist, but Siad Barre was the least Qabiilist.

I suppose the SSDF was mostly eelay?
I didn't mean to imply that all MJ's were against him, my father was big Barre supporter. But that doesn't erase the fact that a lot of MJ wanted to see him fall.

Re: Wasn't Siad Barre the best?
Siyad Bare has done many monumental in Somalia. He has given an entire Somalis that graduated from high school (free education) a dual administration within his government...and add to many that afterwards graduated from University. He was an idiot and tribal persona, but He was a true Somali. He was his domain thinking.... to unite Somalia under his thinking…but failed in 1977. Afterwards he left an entire nation he sought to create.
