I'm half and half on the TFG and I am a godly-blessed MJ.
I'm for it because its led by Darod and works in the best interest of real Somalis (aka -- not overnight Sheiks or political amateurs).
I'm against it because there are too many Hawiye warlords in it, kill them all and I fully support it.

It's not just Darood. Majority of Abgaal, the Rahanweyn, reer Hamar all support the government.
The only disgruntled clans are HG, and Isaaqs. HG because they have don't have the same influence and controll that they enjoyed with the UIC and Isaaq because Abdullahi Yusuf might be antagonistict to their Somaliland dreams.
And the UIC like the Macarena is a distant fad, and no sane person want either to make a comeback.

Yusuf, and the TFG for that matter, are irrelevant and inconsequential to Somaliland recognition. And what proof do you have that Reer Xamar support the "government" (for lack of a more suitable word) ?

Yusuf and the TFG have broad international support including the UN plus solid internal support, it's the legitimate government of Somalia in the eyes of the international community. And Somaliland is still considered a region within Somalia with a separatist mentality like Quebece in Canada. So I don't understand how you can claim that the TFG has no say when it comes to Somaliland recognition.
And for the reer Hamar, I was basing it on an article I was reading about an reer hamar professor in Italy who said he and his people support the government, and this was 2006.
