Somalia needs about $10-20 Billion to rebuild it's roads and its resources and to also jump start the economy. $2.2 Billion is not close to what's needed but it's a start.

How much i hate these UN's, have any one of you read the book by the former US AID worker titled Lord Of Poverty ? he worked in Somalia from 1984-1989.the UN have contributed to the destruction of Somalia's economy , Afweyne always claimed 2 million refugees and the UN claimed the sam and both shared the spoiles while flooding the Somali market with animal feed standard grain from Europe and USA bushing Somali farmers out of business , despite the fact that there is always enough food in Africa to be bought and fed to the refugees the UN buys USA and Europeans Grain flooding the African market bushing farmers out and creating poverty.
