Salaam,
Sis, if the kind of friends you're with make simple things like covering up hard for you then, subhanAllah, you need to get out of that circle of friends cos real friends are those that worry about your akhirah and encourage you to please Allah (swt)

Well i've given you my piece of advice sister (which was advice for me as well), may Allah (swt) guide us all and protect us from the shaytaan. Amiin.
P.S you really should look at that lecture EOMM posted instead of hiding from the truth sister.
Salaamu'alaykum brothers and sister,
Has abaaya become a fashion statement? I have seen so many girls wearing abaaya tucked in their jeans so you can see their legs up to their knees with a scarf tied backwards so you can see their necks?
Does anone in here do that? If so, please explain to me why, cos im curious
I mean they do it because they feel like wearing it that way. There really isn't a good answer to that. My answer is I like wearing it that way. This is one of those unanswerable questions same to why does the boys wear baggy pants/saggy pants? explain that.

Re: Honest Question!
i used to do that... not for fashion or nuttin, just coz the thing was so dam long and i keep on fallin on it, and ma scarf keep on fallin down so i couldnt be bothered fixing it all the time, (well that was ma excuse wen i saw men or ma mum walking towards me)
