Reer Hagar are probably one of the best Armed Somali tribes. They have huge caches of heavy weapons (including BM rocket launchers). After the fall of government of Siyaad, the commanders in Hargeysa took their soldiers and militias and as much weaponry as they could take. The biggest haul was by the Mareexaan led by General Cabdicasiis Cali Barre. Number 2 were the Dhulbahante led by Colonel Beydan who brought huge armaments to Hawd.

Colonel Beydan and Cabdilaahi Yuusuf fell out when he refused to put his militia and his heavy weapons under Puntland control. The rupture became permanent.

Colonel Beydan is dead. Xiis Xiirey is Wacays Aadan and he has a huge militia and arms at Horufadhi.

Well I can't say I got my sources from an unbias person, I was told that the conflict started way before the shooting of the teenagers, and that the shooting of the teenagers was the climax of this ongoing conflict, besides the conflict should be stopped Hayaag are way outnumbered in this skirmish, the Puntland troops should have stepped in a long time ago.

The composer who also sings the song is CADI KAAMIL CAAWAALE (Gadabuursi). He was well known Abwaan and singer of General Dauud club in Hargeisa. Yes he was a soldier but he never went to the war to fight. He wrote the song on behalf of his fellow soldiers.

He had a follow up song called SEDEX BAA WALAAHI..After Somali Military was pulled out.

Cabdi Kaamil Cawaale is well and alive kicking in Boorame.
