Advocater, math is a very interesting subject. It is very challenging but if you have a good teacher, you will love it. A bad teacher can make one hate math more than anything in the world the thing about math is that if you don't get it, you can't bullshit your way out of it like you can with other subjects.

Ugaas, sxb, I hated math a while ago because like you said teacher was an assold that didnt give a fuk, he use to explain like we were computer or somechit and would never give you a direct answer, that's why I took the time and taught myself with the help of the software (Microsoft Math 3.0) where you just plug in the problem and you get the answers with step by step solutoins, best thing I have ever done. It's also works really well with chemistry, phyics etc...

Math is my fav subject after Biology.

I once took an introductory biology course where I was the only male in a lecture class of over 200 students. Why is that girls are majoring in Biology more than guys these days? My computer science courses were the opposite........

Ugaas Diini, in a class of over 300 kids. I noticed one lecture that I was the ONLY dark person there, girl or guy. I have never noticed it before but that day I noticed it for some reason and I felt so self-conscious when I had never done so before.

2 minutes later I complete for got about it.

loool, thats too much estrogen in one room even for me. I dunno, I somehow end up with alot of engineering students in my classes( maths $ physics) . But there is something about nursing and Somali girls. In campus, I swear 6 out of 10 girls would say they are doing nursing.

it should be intresting to see what this generation of somalis in the west will produce in like 20 years.
you have the crew that do nothing but party and bullshit,than you have the focused bunch.i bleive the thuglifers out number the college kids.

Ismahan, you should know this by now, somalis always like to do the same shit. one guy becomes cap driver then all the other guys have to do same. One somali lady buys newly designed fadhi-carbeed/curtains and less than a month its in every somali house.

That would be interesting,and you're right the welfare dwellers and thuglifers outnumber the rest. Sorry to sound pessimistic, but even then, the majority of the educated bunch once done with their education rarely give back to their community and end up leaving them, with no influence.
