Albanian guy I know told me the country is 20% Muslim tops, the rest of the people are either non religious or Christians. And it's understandable why they love bush, he's own their side on the Kosovo issue.

The second part is that he just made a statement 'urging' for the independence of Kosovo. Historic Kosovo was always a Serbian territory, but since the breakup of Yugoslavia, the territory has been split evenly, but every year, further and furthermore, its become labeled as an Albanian territory, with new claims popping up everywhere.

The US broke up and destroyed Yugoslavia, and its pushing the envelope once more. The first civil war of Yugoslavia happened around the breakup of the USSR, when the US and Western Europe armed the Muslims to the teeth, however they didn't have the discipline or the organization of the Serbs, so both the Albanians and Bosnians got their asses handed to them sideways.

Recently, the Serbs elected the most pro-Nationalist, pro-Christian candidate there ever was, and he's promising Serbian supremacy over former Yugoslavia, and the US has since been more and more vocal of Kosovo's [pro-Albanian] independence, thus preventing the Serbs from gaining a key foothold in that region.

When the US think Serbia, it thinks a mini-Russia in the region, and any measures to cut its limbs off is a good one. According to Sultan Bush.
