No one is proposing anything overnight, pan africansm and African unity is not a new concept. It has been around since colonialism and yet it hasn't had an affect on the African continent as a whole for whatever reason be it corrupt leaders or civil wars. But countries like Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya are considering federation. So the idea is not that far fetched.

And it has to start from there, with similar countries uniting before the whole continent.

And in Somalia's case, we have to get our little regions in order before we can do anything.

Dream big my friends.

Don't buy in to this unity crap people. There are secret white societies that want to unite the whole world and bring it under the command of one single government for their own wicked purposes. The conspiracy is shocking, i wrote a book about this 15 years ago.

i thought there was such a thing...AU(African Union). kinda like the EU sooma'ha?. look closely at how they function and that's pretty much a prelude to how anything deemed PanAfricanism would be..CORRUPTION!!!!. oh and forget somalia, ethiopia is currently the actiong body in the AU for that ghost nation Laughing

Could be true, yaa og?

Some say Jews run this world and destroy anyone who dares to speak ill of them.

Zulaika,

AU was founded or partly founded by Haile Salassie who didn't like Somalis to have their own countries. He wanted Djibouti to join Ethiopia and when he foundout it was most likely to join Somalia, he wanted the French to stay on. He also made some claims as Somalia being part of his 'ancient' empire.

Most Pan-Africans worship Ethiopia too much. The pan African colours is based on Ethiopian flag.

I don't think this would happen, becouse the Tigres in Ethiopia are small minority who have been under dogs for a long time. They want to rule Ethiopia as long as they can and when their time is up, they want independence.

You are right, some pan African have a tendency of revering Ethiopia as they see it as a home especially those in the diaspora.

Still, Selaisi and Ethiopia was receptive to the idea in the beginning, it's the only reason why many pan-africanist worship Ethiopia. That being said, the movement started with African need to rid of their colonial past and join together. Nkramah and other pan africanist were more interested in stopping white suppression of africa and had no interest in dominating the continent with Ethiopia.

The other pan Africanist flag colors are black representing race, red representing blood, and green for vegetation.

Anyways the movement is still wishful thinking at this stage especially Somali involvement, I understand that, but I like the idea and concept very much.
