Me, I can eat my food without banana but it depends on what kind of bariis my mom/siblings make, there's like 5 different ways and I only eat it with tuesday and sunday servings.

I believe those who are disgusted by the bariis/baasto and moos combo are all reer koraad. The fact that banana doesn't grow in where they come from tells it all. Geel kuul maxaas ka kasaa.
