just out of curiosity: What were you expecting?

I couldn't care less who rules Kismayo or Jubbaland.
What I want is a an attempt at a negotiated peace where both groups reach a consensus they agree with. Only problem is that neither of the camps wants to negotiate, but rather impose their view on everyone.
Good luck with that.

Re: Open Negotiation on Kismayo and Jubbaland
Padishah you completely misunderstood our intentions. Sxb, it is like Mareexaan Caabudwaaq trying to get seats in Gaalkacyo, that is how Majeerteen seems in this discussion. Harti and Kismaayo in the same sentence is laughable.
It was Morgan (the individual) vs. Mareexaan the last years, Harti just rode on the subject cuz of Morgan's background and today things are back to how they were when the little tribal attempt by Cabdullahi has been destroyed.
Kismaayo is not negotiable by Sade and neither did we ever hinted as if it were, it is your Majeerteens who are bringing into the topic for some odd reason.

So suddenly Kismaayo is non-negotiable whatsoever? So you're willing to risk a devastating war on your clansmen to have the whole cake and eat it too?
Than iga raali ahaada, I've also made a big mistake. I mistook you for reasonable people with a touch of realism.
Padiash,
I want to clarify one thing once and for all. I keep hearing about this whole 'Who's the most' 'who's been there the longest'. All of that is irrelevant. Also, as Somalis we've always been a nomadic society. Truth be told, Marehans haven't even been in Gedo for the longest time. My own Grandfather (AUN) left Cabudwaq when he was 8 years old to Bardhere. MJ's I'm sure, didn't live in Barre forever. Somalis move around, so this whole arguement about who discovered it first is mute, because nobody really knows, and frankly it doesn't matter. Now for the whole 'Who is the majority' etc. I'm not saying Sades comprise 90% of Jubboinka. But we are the sole military power in the land, so I don't see how terms could be dictated to Sade, and I don't see how Sade will just relinquish power for NOTHING. Think about it from a realistic point of view: Why would Sade even give an INCH in Jubboinka? What will we get back? What will happen if we don't? Padisash, I see what your saying about negotiation, but negotiation is all about give and take. So MJ's keep Puntland, do their thing, then they come down to us and say 'This is a dawlad so you have to share'? Padiash, if you come with a realistic arguement of WHY Sade should relinquish stake in Kismayo, and what they'll get in return, I'd be open to the idea.
We aren't risking nothing, and a war might be closer then we think, which is caused by your kinsmen actions.
