Thats not exactly true his not talking about the whole of somalia but somaliland as it was recognise then before Somalia...

he obviously meant "somali" "land"
but as usual if anyone mentions the word land and somali in the same parapragh, they think they're one step closer to being a real country
sorry but "Somaliland" still dont look familiar (nobody recognizes it!)

You are so stupid is unbelievable, British Somaliland was never a real country, British Somaliland got recognition a around 4-5 days Before Italien Somaliland
.......british Somaliland and Italien Somaliland become SOMALIA. in those 4-5 days nothing happend other then People from north coming to the capital Xamar in order to create the first Government.
How do u know what he was talking about? you dont even know the facts

my point exactly, somaliland gained it's independent as the " State of Somaliland on 26 June 1960." so technically somaliland was the "state of somaliland" and was a country before Somalia whether it being for 4 or 5 days ...

British Somaliland gained Independence tru nationalism
So did French Somaliland which later become Djabouti
italien somaliland and British Somaliland become Somalia

Think about it somaliland was recognised as the "State of Somaliland" while the other regions where recognised as djbouti & Somalia
