I remember my elders telling in the early days of the struggle there were a few nationals who tried to belittle the struggle to serve their own self-serving interests. Unfortunately, the struggle grew like wildfire and steamrolled over the self-serving sellouts.

God bless the eritrean people they have done what many nations in the ethiopian empire could not do, that is attain freedom and choose their own path.
We the somali people thank our eritrean brothers for at least verbally supporting us many others have betrayed us.
The vast majortiy of somalis are against the ethiopians, we are showing this by killing countless ethiopians day and night in somalia.
Some we would be fighting in ethiopia, not somalia
The somali people can match the arrior capabilties of our eritrean brothers.

until 1975 the ELF was the premier force fighting the ethiopians
the EPLF was a small force and did not have a big impact.
and the ELF was mostly muslim and had arab funding and support.
when the ELF weakened and the EPLF rose, they combined.
Eritrea is multicultural and multireligous state,
it is to be admired.
