The lucky ones were the once who fled. For those who stayed behind it was a hell-hole. The USC was an organization founded by men who wanted to replace Siad Bare, their infantry on the other hand were a group of riff-raffs, the lowest scum of society, reer baadiye, ciyaal suuq, etc. anyone could join up.
