Mustaqbal Express along with Amal Express is largely Cumar Maxamuud owned, let alone Majeerteen.

AE and ME belong to Amal Group and Mustaqbal Group respectively and they complement each other rather than compete. Amal Group invests heavily in trade, real estate and construction in Africa, while Mustaqbal Group recently started operating in the same way in the UAE.

According to an interesting article on somalilandnet, AE and ME are the largest handlers of money transfers in Hargeisa after Dahabshiil.
