The report says they may have used eritreans, but how do you know they used all of 2000 eritreans? Or are you saying that to save yourself face?
I am not even surprised at this report, since Somalia has become a playing field for foreign countries. And since UIC were just religilous warlords I assume they used foreign help in their advances, just like the secular warlords have done in all those years.
Now to return to Kismaanyo, If Bare Hiiraale was a good military leader why did he not even engage the UIC force outside of Kismaanyo, just a small skirmish to see what force he was facing.
Instead he ran away from Kismaanyo and decided to make a stand at Bu'ale. Fair deal, but when I heard that his militia got defeated and that their tikniko's got stuck in the mud because of the heavy raining, I thought: How stupid to not take the weather in one's consideration when fighting a battle.
The UIC had just a few tikniko's and almost all infantery, while Barre Hiiraale came with many tikniko's that just fell into the hands of UIC.
The strange thing, this man is a socalled Colonel. From his handling of the UIC it becomes clear that he is incompetent compared to saddex-alifle Maxamed Dheere. At least this warlord engaged them outside of Jowhare for some houres, when he saw it was against all odds, he withdrew to Mustaaxiil. And waited there till the Ethiopian force was ready to bring him back to Jowhar on their tanks. Hiiraale fled from Kismaanyo, made a fool out of himself at Bu'aale, then went to Baidoba to wait for his Ethiopian escort tanks to bring him back to Kismaanyo
