Amongst the Mujaahidin in the later generations- Salahudin Al Ayyubi, Tariq Bin Ziyad

Contemperaries amongst the Muslims- Nasralah (May Allah lead him to the correct path, and to the Sunnah). He has great rallying and orginizational skills.

Amongst the Kaffirs-Vo Nguyen. He was a revolutionary leader for his people, and protected them against imperialism. *However certainly nothing to be compared to the aforementioned Muslims*

Nice list! I should probably add Abraha: the Abysinnian king who protected the Muhajireen! He later embraced Islam & died as a Muslim. The Prophet (saw) upon hearing his death offered Jannaza prayers while in Madina.

1. The Prophet Mohammed (SAW)--Not only a prophet, but the greatest statesman and military commander the human world has yet to witness.

2. Maj Gen. Jaale Mohammed Siad Barre--The greatest Somali man in history. The only man with the intelligence and sound judgment to have lead a united Somali state for the longest time in history. First instance Somalis were able to write in their own script and saw Somalia as an international player.

3. khalifu Raashidun--Men so noble and great, they have the distinction of being promised heaven while alive especially Umar who expanded the Islamic world to some of its greatest borders.

4. Emir Ahmed Gurey--A man of such character that he united the poor divided Muslims of the Horn (much like today) and destroyed the fascist Abbysinian regime with a single stroke of his sword. Never mind teaching Abbysinians to eat red meat so as not light a fire that would betray their hiding positions to the Emir.

5. Sayd Mohammed Abdille Hassan--The greatest freedom fighter this world has yet to see, a man who held off European colonialization and their puppet Somalis only to be defeated with the first use of the airplane as a form of warfare.

6. Sultan Mahmet II--The first Muslim to bridge the European continent since the Moors and the man who wrested Constantinople from the powerful Eastern Orthodox Church/State. It is because of him that Islam is deeply rooted in Romania, Hungry, and the Balkans today.

7. Patrice Lumumba--A man ahead of his times. A man who was able to foresee neo-Imperialism and neo-Colonialization (today masked as Globalization) and fought it, making sure the resources and destiny of his nation were under the firm hands of his own people. As in the case of Sayd Mohammed, puppets were used against him sent to further the enemy's interests.

8. Sallahudin--The stuff of legends. The man who showed the Islamic world can and indeed took on the West, defeated them, and was able to keep Jerusalem under its control. Possibly the second greatest military leader in history after the Prophet Mohammed and Khalid ibn Walid (Saifullah).

9. Ibn Rushd--The greatest philosopher the world has yet to see and the man to whom the West owes its renaissance to. He is the base for Islamic philosophy to whom the West owes some of its most morally tact philosophical interpretations and legal jurisprudence.
