Abdiwahab,
After the blessed month Ramadan is over I know you look forward to celebrating your Eid with that twist concept of yours which you mentioned to us in that other thread. I believe you said and correct me if am wrong that you look forward to standing after prayer in front of the Eid prayer hall entrance in hopes of chasing down every female that crosses your path for her phone number.
Why am I pointing this out? Well, lets just say am trying to remind a brother that some people back home won’t be enjoying themselves as much as he. While they line up to beg for meager hand outs in our birth country you’ll be seated in one of the all-you-can-eat buffets Somalis in America flock to every Eid day. While you intake more than your stomach needs they’ll be under a shade trying not to walk off what little fat they have in them. While their being robbed at gun-point for what little they begged, surely, you’ll be flipping through that phonebook of yours thinking ways to sweet talk your way into a young females virginity.
I could go on and on contrasting their situation to yours or mine for that matter, but lets not wish anymore harm on them since their already facing more then they could bear.
Here witness history:
“These are not the victims of natural catastrophe or even drought they are refuges from Somalia’s brutal civil war.”
