KingofAwdal, you have this naive outlook on what is considered history and confuse it with your own perceptions and thoughts. You act like you are the only one in possession of the Futush al-Habasha sxb

First thing first, Futuh al-Habasha does not mention the Imam's ethnicity for reasons unknown, but through subsequent research, one can deduct his ethnicity and the ethnicity of his successor.
Secondly, where on earth do you get this ridiclous notion that every Somali or Mareexaan living in Harar would have some Samaroon or Ciise connection? Samaroon and Ciise didn't participate in the Conguest of Ethiopia which automatically leads to the conclusion that Samaroon or Ciise did not live there in abundance or they migrated from nearbouring regions after the demolishment of the Sultanates. Similiary, there was not a single Mareexaan or Somali in Jubbaland 500 years ago.
I.M Lewis mentions:
"..but there is apparently no mention of the Ciise or Gadabuursi or for that matter of the other main Isaaq division, the Habar Tol Ja'lo"
