Xawaadle is son of Meyle who is the brother of Hawiye. Both share same father, Irrir. So, Hawiye and Xawaadle are brothers by blood. Xawaadle's mother is Mudulood (ujeejeen) and Xawaadle mostly live among other Hawiye (Gugundhabe, Ujeejeen, Karanle, Habar gedir etc)... for all practical purposes, they're Hawiye. During the Civil War, daroods counted them as Hawiye and Xawaadle fought as Hawiye.

If their mother is ujeejeen and their father Meyle, where does this Leylkase story fit into the picture?

You're just saying the same thing that Costa mentioned in another form. Xawadle are hawiye only on their mother-side and that's what Costa exactly said.

By the way The name IRIR created by Ibrahim Cigal whether it's mayle or miile , it doesn't exist at all
