[the somaliland govt is the only legit govt, unfortunatly its not recognized]
How come the international community recognizes an illegitimate government and not recognize a legit one?
they don't want to see two Somalia or multiple ones rather
its not in their "strategic interests"

How is SL legit government? The TFG is not perfect Somali government but it is representive of every clan and it has the U. N mandate for five years. If its years are over, we can still come back to the table and resume the negotiotion taking into consideration all that was not accomplished by the TFG. First, we have to understand what the TFG stands for and main goals. However, it is unfortunate that people would equate the TFG with a nonexistant clannish entity out of resenment and political discontent.

I voted for 2009. Those who said NEVER are desperate clannist. They put their clan's interest above the national interest of Somalia.
Re: When will Somalia have a National Government?!
That seems like a distant dream.

^Often distant dreams turn in to realities. A society is not lost, as long as there is hope. I am very hopeful that we will have a legitimate government soon, insha Allah.

I don't know about that, most of us are suffering from a severe clan sickness, I'm definitely a believer of United Somalia, but in order for that to happen we need a cure, that hasn't been invented yet.

Well said. If only somali's learnt to channel that resentment into the ballot box or politically instead of violence than the idea of national government wouldn't be so elusive. TFG is a stepping stone to better government, but only if people accept it.

Oh, I'm pretty sure she's being serious. You can tell by her tone.
Re: When will Somalia have a National Government?!
Abdulahi Yusuf is one man, he cannot save a people unless they want to be saved. Somali's really need to drop the backward concepts of 'mahdi' 'savior' etc, that kind of thinking should have died with barre's dictatorship. When you build institutions and governments, the individuals within it are nothing more than cogs in a machine.
