i repeat..anyone who chews khat is a drug addict not worthy of any salams. there is no difference between khat users and dopeheads. the kenyan economy is not based on khat, we dont depend on it. only the meru tribe grows khat and the revenues dont even make up for 1% of the kenyan economy. they can simply replace the crop by growing something else

Kenya gets billions of shillings from khat tax alone......not only meru....from coast province to Northeastern and even Eastern will have economy issues.....a lot of women take care of their family finance through khat bussines..
