Weird conversation. I first thought you guys were talking about private issues and wondered whatever happened to the private messaging.

So, this is a masjid war in Atlanta?

Brotha Advo,

Keep on preachin'! Y'all don't got these beefs down in CALI?

Gamadiid,

Yes, bro! There was a group who split from the only Somali Masjid in Atlanta and left us, calling us improper Muslims and Bid'ah commiters. So, they formed their own Masjid and are rivaling us, they've resorted to all sorts of cheap tactics, even calling the FBI on one of our renouned Sheikhs.

They call themselves "Salafu Jadiid" and are a product of Saudi Arabia!

He sounds like a Jadiidi, they already started fasting for the 7 days of Shawal. Our congregation are starting next week, insha Allah. The little shop a.k.a. "Halal Pizza" is still open and a hang-out for them, so is the Dunkin' Donuts on Memorial Drive! Laughing

We might have few confuse souls but not to that extent, The biggest one here and the ones I challanged are "Tabliiqi AlJamaac" after years of observing. I discovered the sect was made in england by an indian dude, the local leader was a racist cunt who loved "whites" like the way I do philly cheese-cake. From an insider his a informer. How issit mandatory to go "40" days in the path of allah and how can you be going to the path of allah by visiting couple of masjids in texas, arizona, seattle etc. questions started comming in and I left them. Advo,

Those Tablighi groups are always full of funny characters and you're right, 90% of their members are either Pakis or Indians, coincidence? I think not. Just keep a look out for the 'Salafu Jadiid' they are spreading like a wild fire and have tried to take over Tenessee, Ohio & Maine, but have been bytch-slapped by stronger forces! Laughing

King-Awdal,

Clarkston is bangin' these days, there is a lot of stores that opened up, 2 Somali malls, barber shops, etc. You should definitely go back & reconnect with your Clarkston cousins! Laughing

So dont be suprised If I wave my qabiil flag once in a while it's cuas of qabiil survival!.

Is the sheekh in trouble after they went to the FBI? The problem with Americans is the ease with which they trust every hypocrite who falsely accuses other muslims of bogus charges. Best option is to counter an accusation with another accusation and explain the matter as community issue and rivalry, believe me, Americans know few things about that.

Worst thing I have noticed about salafiyah jadidah is how they give thier blessing to the worst among muslims while they passionately condemn the average muslim to hell. Meeshii la rabay masaakiinta iyo dadka laga xaq daran yahay inay la saftaan, nin dharagsan iyo nin gacan ku dhiigle ah ay taageeraan, waa la yaabay kuwaan.

The saudis have produced good sheekhs who are responsible for somalia's religious movement. Men who invested time in reviving islam and teaching came from there and brought their expanded knowledge of islam to Somalia. This Jadidah men are few I think, so while Saudi rulers use islam to their advantage and keep some sheekhs in their pocket to keep guard on others, vast majortiy of religious saudis are good.

Let me guess, these guys who opened the new mosque support the TFG nad call Geedi and A/Y muslim rulers?

Bingo! They actually call A. Yusuf "Amiirul Muslimeen" and say no group has the authority to oppose his government. They also discourage any public sentiment against the Saudi Monarchy and America's interests.

The Sheikh they accused was not harmed, he left the country before the FBI ever got to him, but they did detain his wife on many occasions and raided her house once.

The Salafi Jadiid follow the teachings of a Yemeni "Sheikh" called Yahya Hajoori who recorded a bunch of tapes cussing at many scholars from Sh. Umal, Umar Faarooq to Sh. Hadrawi, their main goal is to discredit renowned Ahlul Sunna scholars and mock their teachings.
