Re: Tutsi are lost Somali
Randile are mixture of Somali men and Turkana women and their language is similar to Somali. But the Tutsi are no way Somalis. They are are Bantu in every sence. There is no diffrance between them and Hutu.

Re: Tutsi are lost Somali
I've heard that some tutsi elders actually spoke Somali during the 70s or something. Some people claim that Tutsis are the descendants of Imaam Axmed Gurey's men.

Xoogsade, I don't think Imam Ahmed's men ever went that deep into east Africa's interior, that part of Ethiopia wasn't even inhabited, I'm sure.
Xusseyn, here is the population of Burundi from different sources:
CIA: https://www.cia.gov/library/publication ... nt/rw.html
Burundi, Hutu (Bantu) 85%, Tutsi (Hamitic) 14%, Twa (Pygmy) 1%
InfoPlease: http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0107374.html
Burundi, Hutu (Bantu) 85%, Tutsi (Hamitic) 14%, Twa (Pygmy) 1%
SOS-childrensvillages: http://www.sos-childrensvillages.org/ht ... llage.html
Burundi, Hutu (Bantu) 85%, Tutsi (Hamitic) 14%, Twa (Pygmy) 1%
World Statesmen: http://www.worldstatesmen.org/Burundi.html
Burundi, Hutu (Bantu) 80.9%, Tutsi (Hamitic) 15.6%, Lingala 1.6%, Twa (Pygmy) 1%, other 0.9%
Hamitic is the blanket ethnic group for Afro-Asiatic people (Somali, Oromo, Afar, Amhara, TUTSI, Tigray, etc).
Is that enough to convince you?

Luq,
Mobutu was a SADE man:
In keeping with tradition, he looted his nation for 20 plus years and brought about qabiilism, nepotism and a massive corruption using his qabiil.

Xoog, Tutsis actually broke off from Reer Xassan. When Reer Xassan opened Jubbaland they went deeper and deeper into Kenya continuing the conquering. Thats why they've now managed to conquere entire Rwanda and subdue the Hutus. The question is are they Reer Yusuf?

True, but I lately realizing there might be some truth to little bits of what the colonialists wrote.
In the end, I view Tutsis as my Somali brothers.
